Buller Adventures is the leading vehicle relocation provider for The Old Ghost Road and have now expanded this popular service to include the new Paparoa Track.
Whether you are hiking, riding or running, our vehicle relocation service gives you the ultimate convenience and flexibility to start and finish the trail on your own timetable by having your vehicle relocated between trailheads whilst you are on the trail.
We have secure key deposit and collection safes located at each end of the trails, secure parking for your ‘peace of mind’, a dedicated team of professional drivers and comprehensive public liability insurance so all you need to do is turn up, deposit your keys and hit the trail.
If you are looking to rent a vehicle, we recommend and work closely with Hardy Cars in Nelson and Touchdown Rentals in Christchurch.
We can also combine your vehicle relocation with helicopter gear drops to huts along The Old Ghost Road.

Personal Locator Beacon
NZ$40.00 for the duration of your trip
A Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) is an essential piece of kit for any backcountry adventure. PLB's provide contact to vital emergency assistance when you most need it.
Sleeping Bag
NZ$20.00 per person/night
Avoid carrying a bulky sleeping bag by hiring one of ours. We have sleeping bags positioned at each hut for your convenience. We ask that you bring your own liner. Currently only available for the Old Ghost Road.
HOW IT WORKS

Make your booking by selecting one of the trails below - once you have completed your booking you will receive your booking confirmation and key deposit/collection instructions.

Turn up to the trail, deposit your keys and hit the trail. If you have booked a PLB you can collect it when you deposit your keys.

Upon completion of your adventure, simply retrieve your keys from our trailhead key safe, collect your vehicle and you are all good to go!
