Bookings and Payments

 

• To confirm a booking, payment is required. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and confirmed by Buller Adventures via email.

• All prices are in NZD

Date Changes

​

• Date changes must be requested via email by the person who made the booking.

​

• Bookings changed more than 7 days before 10am on your booking date can be moved to another date free of charge (subject to availability).

​

• Bookings changed more than 24 hours but less than 7 days before 10am on your booking date will incur a $50 date change fee.

​

• Bookings cannot be changed within 24 hours of 10am on your booking date and will be subject to the cancellation policy outlined below.

Cancellation and Refunds

 

• Cancellations must be requested via email by the person who made the booking.

​

• Bookings cancelled more than 7 days before 10am on your booking date are fully refundable.

​

• Bookings cancelled more than 24 hours but less than 7 days before 10am on your booking date are eligible for a 50% refund (of the total booking cost).

​

• Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of 10am on your booking date are non-refundable (and cannot be changed).

Exceptions

​

• In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Buller Adventures (including but not limited to occurrence of weather or other forces of nature including fire or earthquake, action or inaction by any government agency, or significant damage or loss of any track section(s) or facility/structure) restricting access to and/or use of The Old Ghost Road or the Kawatiri Coastal Trail and resulting in cancellation of your booking, our standard cancellation policies will not apply. In this event, bookings will be rendered non-refundable, however they will be fully transferrable to another date(s) when access is unrestricted (subject to availability).​

• If you have booked a service incorporating a helicopter flight and the helicopter is unable to fly for any reason, the helicopter portion of your booking will be refunded.

Indemnity

 

Buller Adventures reserves the right to modify transport routes in any situation deemed unsafe.

 

Buller Adventures shall not be held responsible for any damage, expense or inconvenience caused by change of schedule, vehicle breakdown, weather or any other conditions.

Some services may be operated by third-party providers. Buller Adventures is not responsible for the actions or omissions of these providers.

Safety Terms and Conditions

 

There are inherent risks in any adventure activity. It is a condition of Buller Adventures accepting your booking that you are aware of the potential dangers and have the skill level required to safely navigate your chosen route.

Additional Service-Specific Terms and Conditions

Some services may be subject to additional terms and conditions specific to that booking (including but not limited to helicopter transfers, vehicle relocations, and PLB hire). These will be presented during the booking process and must be accepted at the time of booking. By completing a booking, you agree to these General Terms and Conditions and any applicable Service-Specific Terms and Conditions, both of which will be included in your booking confirmation.
